Today’s spread: Grain bread, Blue cheese, fresh Feta, a log of goat cheese that is so gooey its held together by a stick shoved down the middle, a cheese of I don’t remember what, two types of fresh pasta, fresh apricots. Not shown: huge head of salad, five tomatoes, a handful of beautiful red peppers.
Total cost: just about 20 euros. Mind you, the cheese is from a small/local producer, and unpasteurized. The equivalent of which in the States would run us about 30-40 bucs alone.
Conclusion: I like local French markets.
